However, the raft, with two rowers less, wanted to get into an area of ‚Äč‚Äčabundant vegetation near the shore. From the canoe we saw all those who remained on it, throwing themselves to the ground as if it were an air attack, to avoid the branches of the trees. In one of the attacks, Pantani's good guy hit one of our poles that rested on the roof of the kind of tent we had on board. The result was a small cut in his glittering bald spot. Not as bright as mine anymore because of the trickle of blood that decorated it.

When we saw the disaster, we went back to the boat and helped row while Maria prepared the meal with the small burner we had. Our menu was made up of canned meatballs, salad and various drinks.

The company also offers the possibility of buying food from them for the journey.. This can be useful when they are somewhat longer crossings although they will tell you where you can stop near grocery stores along the river.

When the meatballs were already heated, the burner overturned and the great moment of the day arrived. One of the logs began to burn with a small flame and Maria was claiming us: Toilet! Toilet!. The great Pantani was faster with reflexes than the others and looked around for some water to put out the flame. His eyes rolled around the scene as his brain clicked for the right solution. His gaze showed anxiety just when he found the solution: took the thermos of hot water and poured its contents on the trunk.

From the bridge across the river Klara, we could see how small we were surrounded by such a vast nature.
