Tallinn, capital of Estonia, opens to the gray and icy waters of the Gulf of Finland in the northern part of the country. When I visited the city, I didn't expect much, because I was only going with my friends to watch a match of the qualifying phase of the Spanish soccer team for Euro 2008, the one in which the glorious era of La Roja began.

In that act of faith (nobody was traveling to follow La Roja at that time), the team of the great Luis Aragones led us to a city that turned out to be a gift from heaven. The small historic center of Tallinn is a true medieval jewel. Just to see it is already worth the trip. We ate there in a medieval restaurant where it seemed you had traveled through time. We also stroll through the harbor, enjoy the night in the many lively pubs of the old town and explore every corner of the city. A great trip.

To enjoy all this, the most common is to fly to Tallinn Airport.

Tallinn Airport is the main airport in Estonia and receives about 3 million passengers every year. It is located on the shores of Lake Ülemiste, about 4 km southeast of the city center. To go from Tallinn Airport to the city center you have the following alternatives:
